M-Four appointed to asset management framework

M-Four has been appointed to Procurement Hub’s Strategic Asset Management Services Framework.

The appointment strengthens the scope the social housing consultancy has to deliver energy performance certificates (EPCs) and other energy efficiency services to local authorities and other social housing providers. 

 Commencing in January 2023 and valued at £400k, the Strategic Asset Management Services Framework is set to run for four years, and will give a responsive and innovative approach to service provision for the benefit of all of Procurement Hub’s members. Covering the UK mainland, it replaces the Professional Services Framework, which expired in December 2022.

Expanding support to the social housing sector

This appointment will serve to expand and strengthen the work that M-Four offers customers in the social housing sector, with a range of services on offer already which includes asset management, energy efficiency, fire safety, and grant funding support consultancy.

Speaking about the new framework, Procurement Hub’s Head of Direct Procurement, Craig Ainscow, said: “With uncertainty in the sector and the possibility of the introduction of a rent cap it is incumbent on registered providers and local authorities to ensure they receive value for money from their suppliers… In the current economic climate, it has never been more important for clients to understand the condition of their stock and devise clear asset strategies for investment planning.  We have introduced a new energy efficiency lot so members can call off for services including retrofit assessment and co-ordinator activities to help them plan and meet their current and future retrofit targets.”
